The Good Old Days:

Larry was first licensed in 1987 at the age of 21.  Immediately, he went to work for Coldwell Banker in North Seattle.  There he earned the GRI designation from the Realtors Institute.  Many of his customers were real estate investors who needed someone with a sharp eye for the big picture, from initial investment, to rehab to reselling at a profit.  Not just someone who wants to sell something just to make a commission.  These investors became the bread and butter of Larry's business.

Larry learned the ropes from some of the best real estate investors in King County.  After 5 years of helping others he decided to try his hand in investing for himself.  He used the methods he had acquired from his customers and applied them to his own real estate transactions.  After acquiring 20 or so properties in a 10 year period he retired, bought a condo in Phoenix and decided to become a snowbird.  UGH!  This did not work out, he has way too much energy!  He wanted to get back into Real Estate but did not want to work for a huge profit hungry company where his energy, ability and creativity would be quickly lost in the crowd. 

A New Real Estate Company:

He decided to open American Classic Homes with his best friend since kindergarten, Kimberly Smith.  It was apparent within weeks of the Grand Opening that this was the best move he could have made.  Instead of wearing the title of broker/owner, he hired Bill Boyer as Broker and took the title of Sales Associate.  This let his customers know he is committed to THEM and their needs.  The initial investment in the "Right Things" such as professional design of the Logo, Marketing Material and a huge investment in Technology gave the NEW company "the edge" right out of the starting gate.  The company quickly gained a reputation for honesty, integrity and excellent service.  It became profitable within 2 months.  People discovered that it was fun and rewarding doing business with a smaller company because of the relaxed atsmophere.  What you see on this website is a glimpse of our efforts.  We hope you enjoy it!!!
